Aarne Nopsanen

[Finland] (b 1907/d 1990)


Aarne Nopsanen was a Finnish painter, graphic artist and illustrator. Nopsanen went lower secondary school , and then studied at the Vyborg art-drawing school from 1924 to 1925 and at the Finnish Art Society Drawing School from 1928 to 1930...in the period from 1931 to 1932 he attended the Paris Academy Colarossi...He started his active professional life working in an advertising company from 1934 to 1939... he was a draftsman during the War period and immediatelly after he made a living as an Illustrator...His production consisted of advertisements as well as book covers and illustrations. In addition, he was also a painter, and painted landscapes and portraits...
