Ootje Oxenaar

[Netherlands] (b 1929)

"Ootje Oxenaar studied at the Royal Academy of Arts..(..) he worked as a Bank note designer for the Nederlandsche Bank between 1966 and 1985 having designed two complete series of Bank notes...(..) from 1979 to 1991 he was also a Industrial Design Professor at the Technische Universiteit Delft...(..) from 1970 to 1994 he was employed of the Art and Design Department of the PTT (State Enterprise of Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones)  first as Deputy Director and since 1976 as Director...As director Oxenaar had a significant impact on the artistic Policy of the PPT. "
