Fraulein Dorothea Suffrian

[Germany] (b 1894/d ?)

Born 27 November 1894 in Hanover, Dorothea studied at the Hannover Kunstgewerbeschule and in Berlin; from 1918-23 she trained in Lucian Bernhard’s studio. Illustrated books and designed book covers for publishers including Ullstein (Berlin) and Propyläen and by 1929  designed postage stamps for Columbia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil. Living in Berlin in 1933.

[ I Found references from two more stamps designed by Dorothea Suffrian.. the 1st from Brazil and it is a Zeppelin stamp from 1930.. unfortunately I cannot find any remark , comment or code in the catalogs i use about  such a stamp, but it exists and has a story of it's own...
the 2nd is a Bolivian stamp that I cannot identify.. If someone knows something about this stamp, please contact me.. ]
