"Luis Almeida was born at Mexico City in 1949 and in 1979 he finished his Architecture Degree at the Autonomous National University of Mexico...Then, he started his studies of Industrial Design in Florence, Italy and Semiotics at the Sorbonne, Paris .. He spent some additional time in France where he work as Graphical Designer at the 'Look Society'.. (..) already in Mexico , Luis Almeida collaborated with Vicente Rojo at the 'Imprenta Madero' and in 1985 he went to the Magazine 'Redacta' where he was ahead of the Editorial and Industrial Design.. (..) Almeida is a founding Member of the 'QUORUM - Mexico Designer's Council' where he was President during the year of 1989...(..) He received also many Prizes and Awards for his work..."
