Max Eschle

[Germany] (b 1890/d 1979)


"Max Exchle studied at the Munich Arts and Crafts School, before went ,from 1911 to 1915 to the Munich Fine Arts School...(..) Together with Franz Paul Glass , Hans Ibe , Otto Ottler , Tommi Parzinger and Valentin Zietara he was a member of the second group of Die Sechs , one of the first artist groups to market advertising contracts, especially posters.(..) In addition to numerous posters for many different events , he also produced a number (..)  of oil paintings of mostly Bavarian or Austrian landscapes, which were partly printed as postcards. (..)"
