" As a Graphic Artist , Professor Claus Achton Friis was a central figure in the 20th century Danish Design. He is the author of a variety of packaging, stamps , Bookplates and was also the author of a number of excellent writings about Design (..) He was a student of the graphic designer Professor Gunnar Biilmann Petersen, and became a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts's Department of Graphic Design, at a late age.. (..)"
