[Austria][Israel] (b 1926/d 1994)
Miriam Karoly was a sculptress, painter and graphic artist, born in Vienna. She studied Painting and Graphic Design with A. Meiselman...Already in Israel Miriam turned her attention to the designing of Medals and coins , fields where she won several Prizes...She also designed and painted walls in Bet Dagon and in the Haifa railway Station... Of course, Miriam has also designed stamps for Israel and Ghana Post Offices... She committed suicide together with her husband in 1994.
