[Russia] (b 1904/d 1980)
Leonid Golovanov started his studies in a local parish School,working later as draftsman in his hometown and in Samarkand...in 1920,with only 16 years he won a local Drawing competition and in 1923 he traveled to Moscow where he spent five years studying and working at an Art studio...after this period he started to work in the "Peasant's Journal" as a final detail designer..during this period he also illustrated several Children books...he started to show his Art works in several exhibitions and from 1937 to 1941 he taught at the Moscow Architectural and Moscow city Art Institutes... in 1942 Leonid begins to work on the creation of posters, drawings and postcards issued by the State publishing House .... in 1943 he was mobilized for service in the Red army and then he managed the artists of the Grekov studio...In 1946, Leonid Golovanov was awarded with the Stalin Prize for his work from 1942 to 1945..After the war, he continued successfully to work as a poster artist. The most successful of his poster work was created in the tradition of social realism...His works can be found in many private galleries and collections and at the Russian state Library Collection...

Голованов Леонид известен как плакатный художник в марках это чувствуется. Хороший яркий стиль плакатов. особое внимание прорисовка лиц (выделяет именно лицо. эмоции) .

Да, в России мало еще работают с интернетом. О художниках. граверах голые факты. (стандартная биография людей . В СССР писалась при приеме на работу). Все по-прежнему ищется на мести проживания или работы людей. Сам пробовал надо перевернуть горы каталогов общаться в обществе с художникам или коллегами по работе .

Hello... Thank you for your comment... I always like to have your comments on the post about Russian Designers... I also have updated the post about Vasili Zavyalov (it was very incomplete, it was one of my first pots, and now I updated it into the first of many posts about this Artist...)..
