Maurice Barraud

[Switzerland] (b 1889/d 1954)


"Maurice Barraud left school at the age of 14 and trained as a graphic designer. At the same time he attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva... There he studied with Pierre Pignolat and James Vibert . After the apprenticeship he worked two more years in the graphic studio of his teacher and then continued to work with his brother François Barraud autonomously...
