José Rodriguez Radillo

[Cuba] (b 1915/d 1977)

Juan Rodriguez Radillo was born in Havana in 1915...He attended the courses of Drawing and Painting in the San Alejandro National Fine Arts Academy , achieving the Degree of Professor in both Disciplines in 1931...He worked for the magazine "Carteles" from 1934 to 1946 and was the Art director of the magazines "Ellas" since 1938.. in 1949 he also teach drawing at the Applied Arts School..during all his life Radillo worked as Poster and Magazine's Cover designer and as a Painter ,of course...  He was awarded with many of the most important Cuban Cultural and Artistic Honors...
