[Algeria] (b 1929/d 2014)
worked as a teacher for 4 years before devoting himself to Painting..won Scholarship's from France and Spain and had to leave his country to live in Paris and then in Spain at the 'Casa Velasquez' ; returned to Algeria in 1962 where he was entrusted with the design of the Official Coat of Arms of the People's Republic of Algeria.. He was then appointed adviser of the Minister of Culture and start working for several Official Departments of State and his work is somehow spread by numerous buildings , Monuments and Social Equipment.. Participated in numerous Colective exhibitions in Algier, Paris and Brussels, and can be considered one of the driving forces of modern Art in Algeria...
