Zygmunt Kaminski

[Poland] (b 1888/d 1969)


Studied in the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, in the Krakow Academy of Fine arts and ended his preliminary studies in Paris where he attended the private teaching of Academy's like 'Academie Ranson' and 'La Grande Chaumiere'.. worked as stamp and coin designer, illustrator, monuments decoration and restoration..Also has numerous works in partnership with his wife Zofia Trzcinska-Kaminska , notorious sculptress..His life and work are better known mainly because of the Poland's Flag, that he designed in 1927.. Awarded with many prizes for his diverse work.
