Faustina Iselin

[Switzerland] (b 1915/d 2010)


"at the age of 16 , Faustina Iselin started her studies to became a Graphical Artist in Basel ; in 1936, after achieving her diploma, she travels to Berlin to have classes at the Academy to perfect her graphical Design abilities under the guidance of Ernst Bohm...(..) fleeing from the National Socialism in Germany, Faustina stays for some time in Paul Colin School in Paris, where in 1938 she obtained the 2nd prize for the poster of the Paris International Fair...in 1943 , again in Basel , Faustina started her life as a painter , but doing also illustrations and some additional work for the Basel Puppet Theater.. (..) after the war she did extensive voyages through Europe ...(..) "
