C.R. Pakrashi took his Diploma in Commercial Art in 1951 at the Calcutta Government School of Arts and Crafts and a special course in industrial designing from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad . He worked already at the Government of India Commerce Ministry since 1945.. Later he was in charge of the Photo Litho Art Section in the Government Press.. Since 1958 he worked as Industrial Designer with small scale Industries...He was the Author of the Book "A Stamp is Born" edited in 2014...
