Fokko Mees

[Netherlands] (b 1887/d 1968)


Fokko Alting Mees  was a highly qualified and internationally known artist. He had his education at the Academy of Art in The Hague under AJ de Jong ; he also  attended the Académie Julien in Paris...painted, drew and made ​​wood and cooper gravures... (..) During his life he worked as Illustrator, engraver, Bookplate and stamp designer, etc..
