I must tell that it was for me very difficult for me to obtain data about Rose Martin and her work as a stamp designer.. she is mainly known as a Cartoonist and one of her works (' The Whenwes of Rhodesia' ) is very popular among White Rhodesian because it is a satiric view of the Return to Britain of some people who lived all their lives in Africa (in Portugal we had similar experiences...)..I will divide as in other cases , the 'Stamp' work of Rose Martin in different posts.. in this first post I will focus on Zimbabwe stamps...
