Vladimir Kirin

[Croatia] (b 1894/d 1963)



Born at Zagreb in a family of Artists , attends the elementary School  and in 1909 the Architectural School in Zagreb..WWI and mobilization to the Army stopped his study's for 5 years and in 1919 he went to London to learn Graphics Designing..during these years in London , Kirin illustrates some works of Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allan Poe... in 1924 he went to the Vienna Fine Arts Academy, after a brief tour for some European Capitals...  during the years of 1922 and 1923 some work was done in Croatia preparing for sure his return to the homeland.. Started then a successful career in Croatia and his role in Croatian Art increases exponentially, with participation in many local or National projects of design, illustration , architecture, Bank Notes and Coins, stamps, Lithography's, etc.. Made many exhibitions in city's like Paris, London or Rome..
