Jan Charles Vondrous

[Czechoslovakia] (b 1884/d 1970)



 He lived in the US since 1893  where he studied at the Academy of Art in New York . In 1910 he went to Prague and created a series of etchings and other graphic works, primarily with themes of urban architecture. In 1937 he started to design some stamps for Czechoslovakia and for the German Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia...
