Karl Uhlemann's was educated at the Synge Street Christian Brothers School in Dublin...his father was a landscape painter of German origin, born in Leipzig.. upon leaving school, he worked as a designer in the "Three Candles" Press Editor and later in life Karl worked as a teacher in Rathmines College... his professional activity is best known for the many Book covers he designed...
