"Antal Diosy pursued his studies at the School of Applied Arts, Budapest, between 1910-15, . (..) The artist immortalized his memories of the First World War in water-colours.and painted figures, cities - Stockholm, Budapest - and landscapes. Diosy was the founder of the Cenini Society - an association of artists under the influence of the Italin trecento (They organized art-exhibitions in Budapest between 1921-26. 1941-47) and was a professor at the School of Applied Arts ; since 1919 he participated regularly in exhibitions (1937: Paris World Exhibition: Grand Prix)."
