"Growing up in a family of nine children, Domicélé made her first studies in the local School and then attended a girls school.. Since childhood, her father encouraged her to paint and modeling clay..After some years studying at the Kaunas Art School and the Juozas Zikaro Sculpture Studio, she was recommended to continue her studies abroad...She then studied at the Paris superior School of Decorative Arts.. since 1929 , Domicélé began to illustrate books for Vilnius Editors and participating in several Graphic Design contests ... In the 50's she made many Solo Exhibitions of her work and during her life she has illustrated and designed more than 200 books..
