"Publius Morbiducci born into a family of ancient artisan tradition.. He attended in Rome the Institute of Fine Arts and in the Roman Secession exhibition of 1915 exposes two bronze masks that established him among the best sculptors of the time. (..) He Specializes in the design of medals, (winning in 1923 the competition for the two-lira coin)  and wood engraving... (..)  Between 1930 and 1940 Morbiducci established itself as one of the greatest artists of the regime, and is one of the protagonists of the exhibition celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Revolution." " Edmund Blampied was one of the most eminent artists to come from the Channel Islands, yet he received no formal training in art until he was 16 years old. He was noted mostly for his etchings and drypoints published at the height of the print boom in the 1920s, but was also a lithographer, caricaturist, cartoonist, book illustrator and artist in oils, watercolours, silhouettes and bronze.
